Questions and Answers

May I insure Public Liability on its own?
Unfortunately our insurers will not provide Public Liability in isolation. Public and Product liability cover is provided in our basic package which also includes cover for outbuildings and livestock.

Do you Insure Alpacas?
Many of our Clients have Alpacas and we are happy to help you insure them. We do not however offer vets fees and the maximum sum insured for one animal is £5000

Do you provide cover for Farmers Markets?
We are happy to provide the additional liability cover required these days by organisers of Farmers Markets. We would need to know the products you intend to sell.

How do I make a Claim?
In the unfortunate event of you having to make a claim, we look after the whole procedure for you. Please phone us on 0800 0183495 during office hours or if outside work hours call your insurer's claims line shown under the Claims button on this website. We have many years of experience in helping people to deal with claims and will support you through the process.

May I add to my policy throughout the year?
Yes, our Smallholder policies are intended to be flexible and you can change your policy as often as is necessary.

How do you define a smallholding?
Any property below 50 acres and where turnover is less than £10,000 per annum.

Can you help if I fall outside these requirements?
Yes, as general insurance brokers we deal with farms paying many thousands in premium to a smallholder paying £300.
